Lightnin Rod & The Thunderbolts: Home
Hi Everyone!
Greetings! I hope you are doing well during this very busy time of the year.
I wanted to write a few lines to send you holiday greetings and say thank you for your friendship and support this past year. Perhaps you purchased a CD, or downloaded a song, came out to a gig, or called your local radio station to request a tune. We want you to know how much we appreciated it.
In the latest news, we are still #3 on the ReverbNation Blues chart for
Central Kentucky. Songs from "After The Storm" and "All American Blues", continue to receive airplay around the country and around the world.
Two weeks ago I had surgery on my foot so I am presently trying to get used to using a wheelchair and crutches. I'm glad it's temporary and my surgeon says I should be good by the end of January. That said, even though I won't be playing live for awhile, it has gave me more time to write. I have also completed demo tracks on five new songs.
We are currently booking shows for next year starting in the spring. If you know of any festival, fair, club, private engagement, etc, please contact us for info. And speaking of shows, we will be playing one of the largest blues festivals in Kentucky next summer. (More on this to come).
Until next time we wish you a Merry Christmas and the very best for 2012.
Lightnin' Rod
